Booking Terms
Effective date: August 30, 2026
These Booking Terms apply to reservations with Magnolia Recovery & Wellness Suites (“Magnolia”). By making a reservation and submitting payment, the guest acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
1. Requesting a stay
Submitting an availability request does not create or confirm a reservation. Magnolia will review the requested dates, suite availability, anticipated procedure information and any requested services before confirming availability and pricing.
A reservation is confirmed only after Magnolia has accepted the reservation and the required reservation deposit or full payment has been received.
Availability is subject to change until a reservation is confirmed.
2. Reservation deposit
A 25% non-refundable reservation deposit is required to secure the selected suite and reservation dates.
The reservation deposit is applied toward the total accommodation balance but is non-refundable once the reservation is confirmed.
Reservations are not held without the required payment unless otherwise agreed to by Magnolia in writing.
3. Remaining balance
The remaining reservation balance is due 7 days before check-in.
For reservations made within 7 days of check-in, the full reservation amount is due at the time of booking.
Accepted payment methods are Zelle, Cash App, bank transfer, credit card and Klarna.
Failure to pay the outstanding balance by the required date may result in cancellation of the reservation and release of the reserved suite. The reservation deposit will remain non-refundable.
4. Minimum stay
Magnolia recovery stays have a 3-night minimum.
Guests may reserve stays longer than 7 nights, subject to suite availability. Published 5-night and 7-night packages are available options and do not represent a maximum stay.
A pre-op arrival night does not count toward the 3-night minimum stay.
Extensions requested after arrival are subject to suite availability and applicable rates.
5. Pre-op arrival
Guests may arrange to arrive the night before their scheduled procedure at Magnolia's published pre-op arrival rate.
The pre-op rate is available only when the pre-op night immediately precedes the guest's procedure and is connected to a qualifying Magnolia recovery stay. The pre-op night is billed separately and does not count toward the 3-night minimum stay.
Pre-op arrival is recommended for many traveling guests but is not generally required unless otherwise communicated as part of the guest's arrangements.
6. Surgery date changes and rescheduling
Magnolia understands that surgical procedures may occasionally be postponed, rescheduled or canceled.
Guests should notify Magnolia as soon as possible if their procedure date changes.
Requests to transfer a reservation to new dates are subject to availability and Magnolia's rescheduling policy. A change in procedure date does not automatically guarantee availability for the new requested dates.
The original reservation deposit remains non-refundable.
Any difference in accommodation rates resulting from new dates, suite selection or length of stay will be the guest's responsibility.
7. Cancellation
The 25% reservation deposit is non-refundable.
Any cancellation must be submitted to Magnolia as soon as reasonably possible.
Payments made in addition to the reservation deposit are subject to Magnolia's cancellation policy and the timing of the cancellation.
Where appropriate, Magnolia may permit eligible reservation payments to be transferred to rescheduled dates rather than refunded, subject to availability and applicable terms.
Any approved transfer or reservation credit has no cash value and may be subject to an expiration date.
Specific cancellation and rescheduling conditions will be presented to the guest as part of the reservation agreement before final booking.
8. Check-in and check-out
Standard check-in and check-out times will be communicated with the confirmed reservation.
Because post-surgical discharge times may vary, Magnolia will make reasonable efforts to coordinate post-procedure arrivals around the guest's anticipated discharge schedule.
Early arrivals and late departures are subject to availability and must be approved in advance.
Guests arriving directly from a surgical facility should keep Magnolia informed of material changes to their expected discharge or arrival time.
9. Recovery transportation
Standard recovery-related transportation included with qualifying Magnolia stays may include:
- One airport arrival transfer
- One airport departure transfer
- Procedure or surgery drop-off
- Post-procedure/discharge pickup
- Eligible post-operative or follow-up appointments
- Reasonable pharmacy/prescription pickup
Included transportation is subject to Magnolia's standard Houston service area, scheduling requirements and the transportation allowance associated with the guest's selected stay.
Personal transportation, shopping trips, restaurants, entertainment, sightseeing, companion-only transportation, additional airport trips, transportation outside the standard service area and trips exceeding the included allowance are not included.
Additional transportation may be arranged upon request and may incur an additional charge.
Guests are responsible for providing accurate flight, procedure, discharge and appointment information sufficiently in advance for transportation to be coordinated.
10. Meals and dietary requests
Qualifying recovery stays include meals, snacks and standard beverages as described in the selected accommodation package.
Guests should disclose food allergies, dietary restrictions and reasonable dietary requests before arrival.
Magnolia will make reasonable efforts to accommodate disclosed dietary requirements but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Specialty food requests, restaurant orders or items outside the standard meal offering may incur additional charges.
11. Overnight companions
Approved overnight companions may stay in the recovery guest's existing suite for the published companion rate.
Companion stays require advance approval and are subject to room suitability and availability.
The companion rate does not provide a separate bedroom and does not include independent transportation, professional caregiving or separately requested services.
All companions must comply with Magnolia's guest, visitor, privacy and property rules.
An overnight visitor who has not been registered and approved as a companion is not permitted.
12. Visitors
Approved daytime visitors are permitted subject to Magnolia's visiting hours, availability and guest policies.
Magnolia may limit the number or duration of visitors when reasonably necessary to protect the privacy, comfort, rest or safety of recovering guests.
Visitors may not remain overnight unless registered and approved as overnight companions.
13. Professional nursing services
Magnolia provides recovery accommodations and non-clinical hospitality and concierge support.
Independent professional nursing services may be available onsite through separately retained, appropriately licensed providers. These services are not provided by Magnolia and are arranged separately from Magnolia's accommodation charges.
Independent professional nursing and wellness services may be available through separately retained, appropriately licensed providers. Availability, eligibility and scope of services are determined exclusively by the applicable provider and may require a separate assessment, provider order, consent, agreement and payment.
Guests may also arrange care with a qualified nurse or nursing provider of their choice, subject to Magnolia's reasonable property access, identification and guest-safety requirements.
Nursing or other clinical services are not automatically included with a Magnolia accommodation reservation.
Guests are responsible for determining, together with their surgeon or other healthcare provider as appropriate, the level of professional medical or nursing care required following their procedure.
14. Medical emergencies
Magnolia is not a hospital, surgical facility or emergency medical facility.
If a guest experiences a medical emergency, Magnolia staff may contact 911 or other appropriate emergency services.
Guests should follow the discharge instructions provided by their surgeon or healthcare provider and immediately report medical concerns to the appropriate licensed healthcare professional.
Magnolia does not replace emergency medical services or the guest's treating healthcare providers.
15. Eligibility for stay
Magnolia is designed for guests recovering from elective procedures who are appropriate for recovery in a non-hospital residential setting.
Guests are responsible for providing accurate information regarding their procedure, scheduled procedure date, mobility considerations and recovery arrangements when reasonably necessary for Magnolia to determine whether it can appropriately accommodate the requested stay.
Magnolia reserves the right to decline or discontinue accommodations where the requested arrangement falls outside the services or capabilities of the residence, subject to applicable law.
16. Prescriptions and medications
Guests are responsible for obtaining and maintaining their prescribed medications and for following instructions provided by their prescribing healthcare professionals.
Magnolia may assist with reasonable prescription pickup as part of eligible recovery transportation or concierge services.
Magnolia's non-clinical staff do not prescribe, alter or independently direct the use of medications.
Any professional medication administration or clinical medication support must be provided by an appropriately qualified professional where required.
17. Personal belongings
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings, valuables, medications, identification documents and other personal property during their stay.
Guests are encouraged not to bring unnecessary valuables to the residence.
Magnolia is not responsible for lost, misplaced, stolen or damaged personal property except to the extent required by applicable law.
18. Property rules and guest conduct
Magnolia is a private recovery environment shared with an intimate number of guests. All guests, companions and visitors are expected to respect the privacy, comfort and recovery needs of others.
The following are prohibited:
- Smoking or vaping inside the residence
- Illegal drugs or substances
- Unauthorized overnight guests
- Excessive noise or disruptive behavior
- Harassment, threatening conduct or unsafe behavior
- Unauthorized parties or gatherings
- Conduct that materially interferes with another guest's recovery, privacy or safety
Guests are responsible for damage caused by themselves or their approved companions or visitors beyond ordinary wear and tear.
Magnolia reserves the right to require a guest, companion or visitor to leave for serious or repeated violations of property rules, subject to applicable law and reasonable consideration of the guest's condition and safety.
19. Housekeeping and property use
Routine housekeeping, linens, towels and reasonable recovery-related laundry are included as described in the selected stay.
Excessive cleaning, damage, missing property or extraordinary housekeeping requirements may result in additional charges where permitted by the guest agreement.
Guests may not rearrange, remove or misuse Magnolia property, furniture, equipment or recovery amenities.
20. Photography and privacy
Magnolia respects the privacy of its recovering guests.
Guests, companions and visitors may not photograph, record or publish images or information identifying other guests without their permission.
Magnolia will not use a guest's photograph, testimonial or identifiable recovery story for marketing purposes without appropriate permission.
21. Service availability
Specific amenities, transportation arrangements, meals, third-party professional services and other recovery services may be subject to availability, scheduling, provider availability and circumstances outside Magnolia's reasonable control.
Where a separately provided service becomes unavailable, Magnolia will make reasonable efforts to communicate the change and, where appropriate, assist the guest in identifying available alternatives.
22. Pricing and additional charges
The guest's confirmed reservation will identify the accommodation rate and any selected Magnolia add-ons.
Services or requests outside the confirmed package may incur additional charges.
Professional nursing and other separately provided professional services are not included in Magnolia accommodation pricing unless expressly stated otherwise in the guest's confirmed arrangements.
23. Guest Agreement
These website Booking Terms provide the general conditions applicable to Magnolia reservations.
Guests may be required to review and accept a more detailed Guest Agreement, property policies, payment authorization and other applicable documents before check-in.
If a confirmed reservation document or signed/accepted Guest Agreement contains more specific terms regarding the reservation, those terms will apply to the extent permitted by law.
24. Questions about your reservation
Guests with questions about their reservation, procedure-date changes, transportation, companions, accessibility needs or other arrangements should contact Magnolia before arrival so appropriate arrangements can be discussed.
