It is private lodging designed around the first days after an elective procedure. Instead of returning to a hotel or an empty home, you stay in a residence prepared for recovery, with meals, housekeeping, laundry, transportation coordination and non-medical personal support already arranged.

Is Magnolia a medical facility?

Magnolia Recovery & Wellness Suites provides non-medical recovery lodging, hospitality and concierge support. Magnolia is not a hospital, surgical facility or substitute for professional medical care. Any nursing, medical or clinical services are independently provided by separately retained, appropriately licensed professionals and are not provided by Magnolia. Guests may also retain a qualified nurse or nursing provider of their choice.

What procedures do you accommodate?

Magnolia accommodates guests recovering from elective procedures appropriate for non-medical recovery lodging, including liposuction, tummy tuck, breast augmentation, breast reduction or lift, mommy makeover, BBL, rhinoplasty and cosmetic body contouring. Share your procedure in your availability request and we will confirm suitability.

What recovery equipment is in the rooms?

Each suite includes an adjustable bed, a recovery recliner, SCD compression devices and specialty recovery pillows (wedge, BBL and boppy-style), with bedside essentials kept within reach. Equipment is provided for comfort and recovery support, and use of any device follows your own surgeon's instructions. Guests are welcome to bring their own equipment and we will set it up in the suite before arrival.

Why stay at a recovery residence instead of going home with a nurse?

Retaining a nurse at home addresses professional care, but the cooking, cleaning, laundry, errands, stairs, pets and rides to follow-up appointments are still yours to manage. At Magnolia, meals, housekeeping, laundry and transportation are already handled, your suite is quiet and recovery-ready, and independent nursing services may be arranged separately if additional support is part of your plan. Nursing services are not provided by Magnolia.

Is there a minimum stay?

Yes. Magnolia recovery stays have a 3-night minimum. Five-night and 7-night packages are available, and guests may reserve stays longer than 7 nights based on their needs and suite availability. A pre-op arrival night does not count toward the 3-night minimum.

How long should I stay?

The right length of stay depends on your procedure and your surgeon's guidance. Magnolia welcomes stays longer than 7 nights when needed, subject to suite availability, and will build the stay around your recovery plan.

Can I arrive before my surgery?

Yes. Pre-op arrival is encouraged, particularly for guests traveling to Houston. A special pre-op arrival rate is available when the night immediately precedes your procedure and is attached to a qualifying Magnolia recovery stay. The pre-op night is billed separately and does not count toward the 3-night minimum stay.

Are meals included?

Yes. Meals and refreshments are included in every stay. Dietary preferences and restrictions can be noted in your availability request.

Is transportation included?

Accepted Answer

Standard recovery-related transportation is included with your Magnolia stay. This includes designated airport transfers, procedure transportation, eligible post-op appointments and reasonable pharmacy/prescription pickup within Magnolia's standard service area. Additional or personal transportation may be arranged separately.

Will Magnolia pick me up after surgery?

Yes, discharge pickup is included as part of your stay. Share your surgery date and surgical facility so the timing can be arranged in advance.

Can someone stay with me?

Yes. Approved overnight companions may stay in the recovery guest's existing suite for $95 per night, subject to room suitability and availability. The VIP King Suite is especially well suited for guests traveling with a companion. Approved daytime visitors are complimentary.

Do you offer private rooms?

Yes. The VIP King Suite is a private King bedroom with a private ensuite bathroom, from $725 per night.

What are the Blossom and Bloom Suites?

The Blossom Suite and the Bloom Suite each offer a private Queen bedroom with a shared bathroom, from $595 per night.

What should I bring?

Loose comfortable clothing, your compression garments, prescribed medications, identification, insurance and surgeon paperwork, phone charger and any personal comfort items. A full pre-arrival checklist is sent after your reservation is confirmed.

Common non-medical recovery comfort items can be prepared before arrival or purchased during your stay. Prescription items and medical supplies come from your surgeon or pharmacy.

Is nursing care available at Magnolia?

Independent nursing services may be available onsite through separately retained, appropriately licensed providers and are not provided by Magnolia. Depending on individual needs and provider orders, services may include post-op assessments, vital-sign monitoring, wound and drain care, medication support, IV hydration and other appropriate services. Guests may also retain their own qualified nurse or nursing provider.

Can I bring my own nurse?

Yes. Guests are welcome to retain a qualified nursing professional or nursing provider of their choice. The provider is independent and is not employed by or providing services on behalf of Magnolia.

Do you provide medication assistance?

Accepted Answer

Magnolia staff provide everyday, non-clinical assistance and reminders. Medication support and other clinical services must be arranged separately with an appropriately licensed independent provider or a qualified nurse of your choice; Magnolia does not provide those services.

What happens in a medical emergency?

Staff will contact emergency services immediately and notify your emergency contact and, where appropriate, your surgeon's office. Magnolia is not a medical facility and does not provide clinical care.

Magnolia is conveniently located in Houston, approximately 10 minutes from the Texas Medical Center, with easy access to many of Houston's leading hospitals, surgical facilities and medical providers, including the Galleria and Memorial areas. For the privacy and security of our recovering guests, the exact residence address is provided during the reservation process.

Yes. One airport arrival transfer and one airport departure transfer are included with your stay.

Yes. A 25% non-refundable reservation deposit is required to secure your suite and requested dates. The remaining balance is due 7 days before check-in. Reservations made within 7 days of check-in require full payment at booking.
