Guest Agreement

Effective date: August 30, 2026

This Guest Agreement (“Agreement”) is between Magnolia Recovery & Wellness Suites (“Magnolia”) and the guest (“Guest”) and applies to the Guest's reservation and stay at Magnolia.

The Agreement below is provided for review. The signature version is presented for electronic acceptance as part of the reservation process.

1. Guest and reservation information

The signature version of this Agreement records the following details for each reservation:

  • Guest name, phone and email
  • Emergency contact and emergency contact phone
  • Suite, check-in date and check-out date
  • Procedure date, procedure type, surgeon or provider and surgical facility
  • Whether an approved overnight companion will stay, and the companion's name

2. Magnolia's services

Magnolia provides post-surgical recovery accommodations and non-clinical hospitality, transportation, meals, housekeeping, concierge assistance and recovery support.

Magnolia is not a hospital, surgical facility or emergency medical facility. Magnolia's accommodations and non-clinical services do not replace medical treatment, professional nursing care or instructions provided by the Guest's surgeon or healthcare provider.

Independent professional nursing services may be available onsite through separately retained, appropriately licensed providers. They are not provided by Magnolia and are arranged separately from Magnolia's accommodation services. Guests may also retain a qualified nurse or nursing provider of their choice, subject to reasonable property access and safety requirements.

3. Guest medical responsibility and eligibility

Guest is responsible for following all discharge, medication, mobility and postoperative instructions provided by the Guest's surgeon or healthcare provider.

Guest agrees to provide accurate information reasonably necessary for Magnolia to understand the Guest's anticipated accommodation and recovery-support needs.

Guest is responsible for arranging any professional medical or nursing care required or recommended by the Guest's healthcare provider.

Magnolia's non-clinical staff do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, change physician instructions or independently provide medical treatment.

Magnolia may decline or discontinue accommodations when the Guest's needs exceed what can reasonably and safely be supported in Magnolia's residential setting, subject to applicable law.

4. Reservation, deposit and payment

Magnolia recovery stays require a minimum of 3 nights.

A 25% non-refundable reservation deposit is required to secure the Guest's suite and reservation dates. The deposit is applied toward the total reservation amount but remains non-refundable after the reservation is confirmed.

The remaining balance is due 7 days before check-in.

Reservations made within 7 days of check-in require full payment at the time of booking.

Accepted payment methods are Zelle, Cash App, bank transfer, credit card and Klarna.

Failure to pay the remaining balance when due may result in cancellation of the reservation and release of the suite. The reservation deposit will remain non-refundable.

The reservation summary in the signature version itemizes the accommodation or package, pre-op arrival, companion, other Magnolia add-ons, total reservation amount, non-refundable deposit, remaining balance and balance due date.

5. Cancellation, rescheduling and early departure

The 25% reservation deposit is non-refundable.

Magnolia understands that surgery dates may occasionally change. Guests should notify Magnolia as soon as possible if a procedure is postponed, rescheduled or canceled.

Magnolia may permit eligible reservation payments to be transferred to new dates, subject to availability, applicable rates and Magnolia's rescheduling policy. Rescheduling does not guarantee the same suite or rates.

Any increase in accommodation price resulting from new dates, suite selection or length of stay is the Guest's responsibility.

Except where otherwise required by law or expressly agreed by Magnolia, unused nights resulting from a Guest's voluntary early departure after check-in are non-refundable.

6. Check-in and check-out

Standard check-in and check-out times will be provided with the confirmed reservation.

Magnolia understands that surgical discharge times may vary and will make reasonable efforts to coordinate post-procedure arrivals accordingly.

Guest agrees to keep Magnolia informed of significant changes to procedure, discharge, flight or arrival times.

Early check-in, late checkout and extensions are subject to availability and must be approved by Magnolia.

7. Transportation

Where included in the selected stay, standard recovery transportation includes:

  • One airport arrival transfer
  • One airport departure transfer
  • Procedure/surgery drop-off
  • Post-procedure/discharge pickup
  • Up to 2 postoperative/follow-up appointment round trips for 3–4 night stays
  • Up to 3 postoperative/follow-up appointment round trips for 5–7 night stays
  • Reasonable pharmacy/prescription pickup

Included transportation is limited to Magnolia's standard Houston service area and is intended for recovery-related transportation.

Personal shopping, restaurants, entertainment, sightseeing, companion-only trips, additional airport transfers, transportation outside the service area and trips exceeding the included allowance are not included and may be arranged for an additional charge.

Guest is responsible for providing accurate flight, procedure and appointment information sufficiently in advance.

8. Meals, housekeeping and recovery support

Qualifying Magnolia stays include the meals, refreshments, housekeeping, laundry and non-clinical recovery support described in the Guest's selected package.

Guest agrees to disclose known food allergies and significant dietary restrictions before arrival; these are recorded with the reservation.

Magnolia will make reasonable efforts to accommodate disclosed dietary requirements but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Specialty groceries, restaurant orders or services outside the Guest's confirmed package may result in additional charges.

9. Companions and visitors

Approved overnight companions may stay in the Guest's existing suite at Magnolia's published companion rate and are subject to room suitability and availability.

Companions do not receive a separate bedroom or independent transportation unless separately arranged.

All overnight companions must be registered and approved in advance.

Approved daytime visitors are permitted subject to Magnolia's visiting hours, availability and house rules.

Guests are responsible for ensuring that their companions and visitors comply with Magnolia's policies and respect the privacy, comfort and recovery needs of other guests.

10. Professional nursing and other providers

Independent professional nursing and wellness services may be available through separately retained, appropriately licensed providers. They are not provided by Magnolia. Availability, eligibility and scope of services are determined exclusively by the applicable provider and may require a separate assessment, provider order, consent, agreement and payment.

Guest is not required to use a particular nursing provider because the Guest is staying at Magnolia and may arrange services with a qualified provider of the Guest's choice.

Outside providers must comply with reasonable Magnolia property-access, identification, privacy and safety requirements.

Any separately provided professional service may require its own service agreement, consent, scheduling and payment arrangements.

11. Medical emergencies

Magnolia is not an emergency medical facility.

If Magnolia reasonably believes that a Guest is experiencing a medical emergency, Guest authorizes Magnolia to contact 911, emergency medical services, the Guest's emergency contact and/or appropriate healthcare professionals.

Guest is responsible for any ambulance, hospital, physician or other third-party medical expenses incurred.

Medical concerns regarding healing, complications, medications or postoperative treatment should be directed to the Guest's surgeon, nurse or other appropriate licensed healthcare professional.

12. House rules and guest conduct

Magnolia maintains a quiet and private environment for an intimate number of recovering guests.

Guests, companions and visitors must comply with Magnolia's house rules. The following are prohibited:

  • Smoking or vaping inside the residence
  • Illegal drugs or substances
  • Unauthorized overnight guests
  • Parties or disruptive gatherings
  • Excessive noise
  • Abusive, threatening or harassing behavior
  • Theft or intentional property damage
  • Entering another guest's private room without permission
  • Photographing or recording another guest without permission
  • Conduct that materially interferes with another guest's privacy, recovery or safety
  • Illegal activity

Serious or repeated violations may result in removal of the responsible guest, companion or visitor, subject to applicable law and reasonable consideration of a postoperative Guest's immediate safety.

13. Privacy and personal property

Guests must respect the privacy of other Magnolia guests.

Guests, companions and visitors may not photograph, record, identify or share information about another guest without that person's permission.

Magnolia will not use a Guest's photograph, testimonial or identifiable recovery story for marketing without appropriate permission.

Guest remains responsible for personal belongings, including cash, jewelry, electronics, identification documents and medications.

Magnolia is not responsible for lost, misplaced, stolen or damaged personal property except to the extent required by applicable law.

Guest is responsible for reasonable costs resulting from intentional damage, misuse or loss of Magnolia property caused by the Guest or the Guest's approved companion or visitors beyond ordinary wear and tear.

14. Recovery outcomes and third-party services

Guest understands that surgical procedures, recovery experiences and healing timelines vary.

Magnolia does not guarantee a particular medical, surgical, cosmetic or recovery outcome.

Questions concerning healing, complications, medical restrictions or surgical results must be directed to the Guest's licensed healthcare provider.

Services provided by outside nurses, therapists, transportation providers or other third parties may be governed by separate agreements and professional responsibilities. Magnolia does not guarantee the availability or outcome of independently provided professional services.

15. General terms

This Agreement, together with the Guest's confirmed reservation, applicable Booking Terms and Magnolia house rules, constitutes the terms governing the Guest's Magnolia accommodation.

Separate agreements for nursing, medical or independently provided professional services are not part of Magnolia's accommodation agreement unless expressly stated.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

If any provision is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

This Agreement may be accepted electronically, and an electronic signature or other legally recognized electronic acceptance will have the same effect as a handwritten signature to the extent permitted by law.
