Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Effective date: August 30, 2026
Magnolia Recovery & Wellness Suites understands that surgical plans can sometimes change. Our cancellation and rescheduling policy is designed to provide reasonable flexibility for procedure-related changes while protecting the limited availability of our recovery suites.
By confirming a reservation with Magnolia, you agree to the following terms.
Reservation deposit
A 25% non-refundable reservation deposit is required to secure your suite and reservation dates.
The deposit is applied toward the total cost of your stay but is non-refundable once your reservation is confirmed.
Final payment
The remaining balance is due 7 days before check-in.
Reservations made within 7 days of check-in require payment in full at the time of booking.
Failure to pay the remaining balance when due may result in cancellation of the reservation and release of the suite. The reservation deposit will remain non-refundable.
Cancellation more than 7 days before check-in
If you cancel your reservation more than 7 days before your scheduled check-in date:
- Your 25% reservation deposit is non-refundable.
- Any payments made above the reservation deposit will be refunded.
Cancellation within 7 days of check-in
If you cancel 7 days or less before your scheduled check-in date, all payments are non-refundable.
If the cancellation is the result of your surgical procedure being rescheduled, the surgery rescheduling provisions below may apply.
Surgery rescheduling
We understand that surgeons and surgical facilities may occasionally change procedure dates.
If your procedure is rescheduled, notify Magnolia as soon as possible.
Magnolia allows one complimentary surgery-related rescheduling.
For an eligible rescheduling:
- Your reservation deposit and other payments already made will be transferred to the rescheduled stay.
- The new reservation is subject to suite availability.
- The same suite cannot be guaranteed.
- The rescheduled stay must occur within 12 months of the original check-in date.
- Any increase in price resulting from the new dates, suite selection or length of stay will be the guest's responsibility.
- Magnolia may request reasonable confirmation of the revised procedure date.
Surgery date protection
If your procedure date changes, your Magnolia reservation can move with it.
One qualifying surgery-related date change is complimentary, subject to availability and the terms above.
Additional rescheduling
After the first complimentary surgery-related rescheduling, additional reservation date changes are subject to a $100 rescheduling fee.
All new dates remain subject to availability and must fall within the applicable 12-month rescheduling period.
Changes to length of stay
Requests to shorten a confirmed reservation are treated as a partial cancellation.
If requested more than 7 days before check-in, the reservation will be recalculated based on the revised number of nights and applicable rates.
Any package price that requires a specific length of stay may be adjusted if the revised reservation no longer qualifies.
Changes requested within 7 days of check-in are non-refundable.
All Magnolia recovery stays remain subject to the 3-night minimum.
Requests to extend a stay are subject to suite availability and applicable rates.
Early departure
Once you have checked in, unused nights resulting from an early departure are non-refundable.
If hospitalization or another significant medical circumstance prevents you from completing your stay, Magnolia may review the circumstances individually and determine whether a future accommodation credit is appropriate.
No-show
Guests who do not arrive on their confirmed check-in date and have not contacted Magnolia regarding a delayed arrival will be considered a no-show.
No-show reservations are non-refundable.
Travel delays
Flight delays, missed flights, airline cancellations and other travel disruptions do not automatically qualify for a refund.
Magnolia will make reasonable efforts to accommodate delayed arrivals while the original reservation remains active.
Guests traveling to Houston are encouraged to consider arriving the day before their procedure to reduce the risk of surgery-day travel disruptions.
If Magnolia must cancel your reservation
In the unlikely event that Magnolia is unable to provide your confirmed accommodation and cannot provide a mutually acceptable alternative, you may choose to:
- Transfer all amounts paid to mutually acceptable future dates; or
- Receive a full refund of all amounts paid to Magnolia, including the reservation deposit.
This provision does not apply where a reservation is terminated because of guest nonpayment, serious violation of Magnolia's Guest Agreement or other material breach by the guest.
Refund processing
Where a refund is due under this policy, it will be returned to the original payment method whenever reasonably possible.
Bank, card processor or financial institution processing times may vary.
How to cancel or reschedule
Cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted directly to Magnolia Recovery & Wellness Suites.
Please provide:
- Guest's full name
- Reservation dates
- Original procedure date, where applicable
- New procedure date, if rescheduling
- Requested new stay dates, if known
A cancellation or rescheduling request is not considered complete until Magnolia confirms receipt.
Policy acknowledgment
By submitting the reservation deposit or otherwise completing a reservation, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accepted this Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy, including the non-refundable 25% reservation deposit and the applicable cancellation terms.
